Basket Full of Fun!!

Madalyn is so funny! She knows where her basket of toys are, so she crawls as fast as she can to them. She wants me to pull everything out (she doesn't play with any of it) and then she wants to play with the empty basket and get her toys from the floor. Today she used the basket to help with her teething, probably wasn't the best thing for her to chew on but how do you make her stop. She also pulled herself up to her knees and she almost had herself standing at one point today, but the standing was short lived. She is growing up so fast, I can't believe it.

Happy Birthday Grandaddy!

Yesterday was Grandaddy's birthday! We grilled hamburgers and had pecan pie. Madalyn liked the pecan pie but I think she still likes ice cream cake better. If I had to guess I would say that yesterday was probably one of the best birthdays Mr. Dan has had. I mean how could that beautiful little girl not make your day better. Happy Birthday Grandaddy!

Spring Break is coming to an end!

Okay, so for all of you that didn't know. I was on Spring Break this week. Madalyn and I have had a blast. We have worked in the yard, slept in, shopped, and played outside everyday. I can not believe that the week is almost over. I am not ready to leave her again. I am very grateful that I have my mom and my mother-in-law, so I don't have to take her to daycare. I am going to apologize ahead of time to both of them because I am not sure how Madalyn will be next week (she will probably be fine, it is mommy that will be sad). From my recent post you can tell we have been busy. It has been great and I am looking forward to our summer!!!

The new goats!

Here are the new goats. They are about a week old. Madalyn liked them, but I don't think that they liked her.

Fun at the Farm!

We went to the farm today to see the new baby goats. Madalyn loves being outside, and she loved that her mommy, daddy, and grandaddy were with her. She got to play with the goats and just play on the ground. For some reason the farm is more fun than at home.

6 months going on 16!

Madalyn is ready to drive. Don't worry grandma's we were parked at the Dr.'s office! Madalyn is always happy no matter what we are doing. However, this picture was taking before she got her 6 month shots. We didn't take a picture after, but I can assure you she was not smiling!

Our Friends are Here!

Denson Jr. and Heath arrived on March 12th. They were six weeks early but are doing good. Here is a picture of Madalyn and Denson Jr. Heath was still in the nursery but we will get plenty of pictures with him when they get home. Madalyn loved the baby, she just wanted to touch him and kiss him.

The Easter Bunny is here!!

Madalyn thought it was so funny when I put the bunny ears on her. She didn't even mind that they were to big!

Happy Birthday Uncle Brett!!

We had supper at Grandaddy and Gammie's house tonight for Uncle Brett's birthday. Madalyn loved the ice cream cake, but we made the mistake of giving her that before her dinner. She was disappointed with the squash and bananas that she had to eat.

Everything goes in the Mouth!

I hope Madalyn gets teeth soon! Everything she can get her hands on goes straight into the mouth. She is getting so big and into everything!!! She is crawling and chasing Butters around the house. Butters doesn't mind until Madalyn gets a hold of her tail!!!

Always Moving!

Madalyn got this jumper thing for home (she has one at here NaNa's) and she loves it. She has jumped so hard in it that she has blisters on her toes. She doesn't mind as long as she is moving.

The next gold medalist!

I don't know how she gets her foot up there, but she does. I think she is training to be a gymnast. The other picture was just to cute not to show off!

Big Blues!

Look at those big pretty blue eyes!! We say thank you daddy for those, because she did not get them from her mommy!

American Idol!!

Madalyn is obsessed with American Idol. You can't really see the TV but Madalyn stays glued to it when they are singing. She is so funny, when they stop signing she starts fussing at the TV.

Madalyn had a hard day!

I was on the computer before Madalyn's bath tonight and as you can tell Madalyn was not excited. She was so bored she fell asleep!

Madalyn and Butters!

Madalyn has found Butters! Butters is so good with her too! For an old cat that has never been around babies, she is perfect. She just lets Madalyn pull and roll all over her.

Madalyn loves climbing. She will climb on and over everything. Today she loved climbing over my legs. She is growing so fast!!
