Happy Birthday Brady!!!

Happy Birthday to our sweet baby boy!!! I can't believe he is a year old.  I remember having him like it was yesterday.  Oh my how times fly...

Brady loves everything he has gotten for his birthday.  He got all kinds of cool boy toys and of course Madalyn wants to play with them.  Brady had his 1 year check up the other day.  I dislike the year check up for the babies.  4 shots and a finger prick...that is too much!!!

Brady weighed in at 19 lbs. 2 1/2 oz.  He hasn't really gained any weight since he has started walking but the doctors don't seem concerned.

He is 30 1/2 in. long...he is everywhere and into everything.  He is trying to figure out how to climb and step over things (like how to get on his riding toys), he almost has it down but not quit.  He eats everything and I am so glad...Madalyn is still very picky.  He is completely off the bottle and is on whole milk at breakfast, lunch, and supper.  He gets juice in between meals with a snack.  He loves to be outside and he loves to watch his Poppy farm and he LOVES to watch the cows!!!

The Best Place Ever...Disney!!!

We have just returned from the most magical place...that's right, Disney World.  This was Madalyn's first trip to Disney and Brad and I have not been in over 10 years.  We didn't take Brady on this trip because we wanted Madalyn to be able to experience everything.  I have to say I am glad we didn't take him...it was hot, and he would not have enjoyed it.  He will get his turn soon.

I have the pictures in order of the days we were there.  We left Wednesday when I got off work and drove to my grandparents in Mt. Dora (which is a beautiful little town).  We got up Thursday morning and got ready to hit the parks.  We started our day at Magic Kingdom and we just let Madalyn take everything in and do what she wanted to do.  Her favorite thing from this day was the enchanted tale with Belle.  I recommend it to all the little princesses out there.  They let the kids act out the story and do it with Belle.  We met Ariel, the Nature Fairy, Rosetta, and Tinkerbell.  We even got some pictures of all of us.  Madalyn was determined to meet everybody so we let Magic Kingdom and headed to Epcot.  We saw Snow White, Aurora, Alice, Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto.  After a full day of meet and greets we went back to the hotel and hit the sack.

Friday, we headed back to Magic Kingdom, this time with a plan.  We rode some rides, met Jasmine and Aladdin, Jessie and Woody, and rode some more.  Madalyn got to go the Bippity Boppity Boutique and get a princess make-over.  She loved it!!!!  I recommend this as well. After our make-over she wanted to meet Tiana.  We were in line when the bottom fell out.  So, she is on the list for our next trip.  We headed back to the hotel to rest before dinner at Cinderella's Castle.  This was fabulous.  Along with Cinderella, Ariel, Aurora, Snow White and Jasmine were there for dinner.  Madalyn had a blast...she loved having her picture made with the Princesses.  After a long day we headed for bed.  We got up Saturday and headed to Animal Kingdom.  We took a ride through the safari, met Pochantas,Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger, had lunch with Donald Duck, Mickey, Goofy, and Daisy at the Tusker House.  Another great experience!!!  We headed back to Magic Kingdom that afternoon to ride the tea cups and its a small world (my favorite ride).  We also ran into Buzz when we went back, so Madalyn got her picture and autograph with him so she can give it to Brady.  Sunday, we headed to Hollywood Studies to hit the Live Disney Jr. show, and the Toy Story ride.  We did a little shopping and then hit the road back to Dothan.

Overall our trip was great!!  The look on Madalyn's face was priceless.  I thank God everyday for the memories I am making with my family.
