One more month to the big 1 year birthday...

My baby boy is almost a year old!!!  I can not believe it has been 11 months since he was born.  I remember it like it was yesterday.  He is so sweet and loving, unless his sister has something he wants.  Both my babies have not been feeling all that great, but when the weather goes from 70 to 40 degrees what can we expect.  Brady is off the bottle except at night and I am going to stop that bottle in the next few weeks.  We have put him on whole milk and he eats everything...the only thing he has not liked is cabbage!!!  He weighs a little over 19 lbs. and is growing strong.  Madalyn finally weighs 30 lbs (she is almost 4) so it won't be long before Brady catches and passes her.

10 Months Old...

I can't believe that I am about to start planning Brady's 1st birthday.  It seems like he was just born.  Here are some sweet pictures of Brady.  Madalyn had to be included...she is my princess!!  She is the best big sister most of the time.  Brady wants to be right where she is and playing with whatever she has.  Brady is truly the best baby.  He never fusses, even if he is sick he is going to be smiling.

If I had to guess I would say he weighs about 22 lbs.  He loves to eat!!!  He is pretty much on table food for everything but will still eat his baby fruit if I give it to him.  We are making the transition to whole milk (I know I am suppose to wait but I didn't with Madalyn either).  He does not like his sippy cup but will take it if he has to.  He is walking and getting into everything.  He is saying some things, momma, dada, he tries to say kitty, he tries to say a lot we just don't know what he is saying :).

Family Fun in January...

So since we are all feeling better we decided that we would go to the farm and enjoy the 80 degree weather in January.  I can't believe we are dressed in shorts in January but I guess when you live in the south anything goes.  We had a blast at the farm.  Brady would have loved to get a hold of the goats but wasn't sure how.  Madalyn loves being out there and will do whatever. 

9 Months and Cruising...

I can't believe Brady is 9 months old.  Guess I need to start planning his 1st birthday party.  That makes me really sad...he is growing way too fast.

Weight: 19 lbs 1 oz.- 20th percentile

Height- 30 in.- 90th percentile

He has been crawling, pulling up, and walking around things for about 2 months.  He has finally started letting go.  8 steps is the most he has taken, but I know it will not be long now.  Madalyn was walking at 9 1/2 months and it looks like Brady is hanging in there too.

This boy loves to eat.  He is not digging baby food anymore but will eat any table food.  He only has 2 teeth but you would think he has a mouth full.  He is already out eating his sister, but that is not hard to do.  She is not a big fan of much and it has to be her idea to eat it.

We have all been sick...glad the flu has come and gone in our house.  Brady was not feeling well in the bottom 2 pictures but I had to mark the day :).

Christmas as a Family of 4...

What a Christmas...Madalyn was so excited about Santa this year.  She woke up Christmas morning and asked if Santa was here.  We said no but he came.  She then said, "it is Jesus' birthday today". She is such a sweet little girl!!!

Brady was not thrilled that he got woken up to watch his sister open all of the presents. She decided to help Brady with his since he didn't seem interested.  Once he got awake he started exploring all the stuff that was out.  He has enjoyed all of his presents and so has Madalyn.  They are some sweet babies!!!

The Star of Bethlehem...

Madalyn had her Christmas program at school.  She was chosen to be the star.  I am so proud of her.  I can't believe she did it.  She had to walk out by herself and stand in the center of the stage.  She was so serious about her position :).  She was the most beautiful star I have ever seen.

Happy Thanksgiving...

Thanksgiving was great.  I am so glad that my granny is here to enjoy the holidays with us.  She has been such a blessing to us since she moved back to Dothan.  Madalyn and Brady love granny and Nana.  We didn't get a photo session with Brad's family but we had a great Thanksgiving with them as well.  It was a good and busy day! We all got a nap in to settle the food we ate :).
